1. What is CorpPass?

CorpPass is owned by the Ministry of Finance and managed by the Government Technology Agency (GovTech). This is the first time the government has issued a unique electronic identification code for businesses.

Singapore companies with a Unique Entity Number (UEN) and foreign companies wishing to access Singapore Government digital services are required to have a CorpPass.
1. Advantages of CorpPass

2. Register for CorpPass

ROs have the authority to approve, view and terminate CorpPass Administrator accounts by logging into the CorpPass website using SingPass. To transact on digital services, ROs need to register for a CorpPass Administrator account for themselves and must have their corporate CorpPass Administrator create a CorpPass User account for them.
To get CorpPass, businesses must register for a CorpPass Administrator account. Singaporean Director of the Company can register for a CorpPass account for their business if they have a valid SingPass account.
2. How to set up CorpPass?
Singapore company needs to appoint up to 2 Corppass administrators and follow these 2 simple steps:
Step 1: Registration and approval
The appointed administrator needs to register an account on the Corppass website.
For companies registered in Singapore:
- RO will have to approve the online registration using Singpass or by Letter of Authorization.
- RO can also become administrator without additional approval.
For foreign companies
- Proof of business registration and identification in your country is required.
- Documents to be uploaded include business registration certificate and identification documents.
- Applications will be processed online by Corppass.
Step 2: The key
Administrators can create other Corppass accounts and manage access to government digital services. New accounts need to be activated before they can be used for transactions.
Activation includes setting up a Corppass ID and password. The administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's Corppass system.
